The "Dirty Weekend" Enduro in Wales. Day Two 13th Oct

After we arrived back from the first days ride (120 miles of crazy off road biking) washed the bikes down, fixed a few loose nuts/bolts and lubricated the drive chains so they were ready for the 0900 the next day. We then hung our wet riding gear in the drying room and scampered back to our room as best as our legs could manage!!!!

Back in our rooms we had a hot shower, put on some dry clean cloths and met for our evening meal, (local grown leek & potato soup followed chicken breast wrapped in bacon and in a cream sauce with veg & pots all again local produce. This was topped off with either cheese cake, fruit ****tail or cake. Got to say the food was fantastic as were the staff and owners of the farm ) a few pints also helped to wash it down.  We then retired to the sofa's near a wood burning fire and checked out the vids of the day. Around 2200 most of us had had enough and needed some well earned rest and try to be fit for the next days ride!?!?

In the morning we woke to a very wet and overcast day. Down at breakfast we discussed the weather but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm to hit the trail. Once again we loaded ourselves with much needed Carb's and kitted up.

Chris arrived on time (0900) and we discussed the ride for the day. We hoped to make the mountain peaks/lakes but the weather beat us back and we did only 55 miles before we called it a day as we were all soaked to the bone and knackered.

I would like to say thanks to all the guys who were part of this fantastic weekend. It was a great laughbiggrinwink and we all managed to get on one way or another.

Also a big thanks to Chris our tour guide who without him we would not of had such a varied and interesting two days, thanks mate and hope to do it again soon.biggrinbiggrin

One last massive thanks must go to the staff and owners of Llanerchindda Farm for being so helpful and friendly during our stay to which nothing seemed to be to much of an effort to help us in whatever we needed.

So guys here are the remaining vids and a few pictures of our last day lost in Wales!!!!.smile

Hope you enjoyed the weekend and reviewing the vids...........  blankstareblankstareblankstare
