well the day was all set to be good one with 9 of our welsh friend due to join the local motley crew for a great ride down in to sunny cornwall.
we all met up in the normal meeting place in saltash, to exchange hand shakes, welcomes and a good bit of piss taking.
the welsh boys had said they wanted a bit of a challenge for the day and thats exactly what we gave them.
i gave them a really nice warm up by going down morden which really gave use a good warm up, then it was onwards and upwards round the usual route.
i do have to say it was incredibly slippery everywhere we went which made for a entertaining ride causing every one to have a few problems.
the route took us down to porthallow and polperro, then up to lerin for lunch( only to find the local pasty shop shut), we then headed back to the lovely muchlarnic, where the welsh boys gave it there best but did not
conquer the very slippery muchlarnic(good try boys).
after recovering a runaway welsh rider we headed back towards bate lakes for a burger and brew, with only 2 lanes left to do we had out only casualty(wolfy), who had a unfortunate run in with a large steel pole hidden
under water which managed to go up between the wheel and forks, bending the disc and puncturing the radiator ending his day.
i had a great day and a big thanks to all that came along.
Great vids and write up guys on what looked to be a fantastic day out with the Taffs😄
Gutted I missed it but now looking forward to the "Getting Dirty Weekend" next weekend😄😄😄
