Seven of us meet up at Brixton garage at 9am for a relatively easy start (lead by Justin who had a bit of man flu) before tackling the Devil's Steps. No one made the 55sec ascend to the top in the so called record time and we were all pleased just to have made it at all
Then it was off to various new lanes leading towards the Dartmouth ferry and some interesting lanes on the other side
This led to a lane leading down to the sea and a dwelling of a local green-laner. James left him something sweet and wet whilst I was a tad more generous with a chocolate snack.
Eventually it was time to get really wet and Justin led us to a couple of lanes where James took up the gauntlet So, which side of the lane to take Well not the one James took. The remander took either the centre, the opposite side or a mixture of the two while Charlie wadded in to help drag James KTM out of the muddy, very deep wet myre Then it was tip the bike up to drain out the water, remove plug and kick out the rest and hey presto all ready again to Rock n' Roll
Thanks Justin for a great choice of very interesting lanes and a fantastic day outand all the guys for making a damp merky day an enjoyable one before I go back to sea
