The three of us (Me, Gump and Spider) met up at Roborough and headed off on our days adventure
We hit 201-050 first which, as expected, had a bloody deep puddle puddle within it. We then went onto a slippy 049. As the tide was not ideal for Lopwell we rode the long way around. Next up was 063,036,037,033,030. At this point the weather was still being kind...
Heading north still, we hit 019,088,054,006,099,060. Next up was the excellent double header that is 191-100 and 191-061. BRILLIANT!!!
We arrived at the services at Sourton at about 1130, where we stopped for 20 minutes. Fed and wartered, we ploughed on...
At this point the weather was CR*P!!! Rain and wind.
So the Garmin was all set for the return leg which included 191-050 (bit of road work to the next which was 201-067 then onto 002,007 (quite slippy but we all cleared it with no dramas),010,011,091,012,014,053. Still raining on and off.
Through the village of Milton Abbot heading south we went onto 201-020,024,025,029. From here we doubled back on the same lanes until we got to Bere Ferrers area. We then went on and got covered in cr*p on 045,046 etc. Stinkin' now, so off to Lopwell for a wash.... So we thought...
What with the all that rain, the Tavy was moving very well indeed, which meant the crossing had to be abandoned. Even though tide was low.
Dam it!!!!! (what a pun)
So off we went, and rode the long way back to Plymouth.
Smelly, dirty and wet. Perfect day
There was a couple of badgers spotted and some oh so nearlys. Good ride.
