Home at last, what a day starting at 9:30 and finishing around 19:00 and a lovely pint had after at the Rock. Started with that horrible misty rain and fog but that kept the dust down for a while and clearing up later to be an excellent days riding, and a good pace as well; some of those lanes were awesome especially around simms hill I think that was what it was called but there were many more like that. I had a great day and enjoyed the company and must have done 120 miles at least, it felt like it. Thanks to knightrider and grasshopper for leading and tecing and all else who turned up.
I had a great day it was superb great lanes fantastic scenary and fabulous company!!! I must admit im exhausted nearly fell asleep in the van on the way home. a few badgers threw out the day and one off them was mine! My first ever river crossing and my first attempt at hopping over a log/pole and stayed on so thats a bonus!! Thanks everyone for a fantastic day hope to see you all again soon!! steve.
