Due to my overland journey to Mongolia I decided to forego membership of the TRF for 2011. This also bars me from being a member of the TVTR.
The preparations are underway to turn my lovely Ural Cross into a real overland adventure machine and so far I've managed to increase the fuel range from 160miles to over 600.

Anyone versed in how to fill out the Russian Visa application. It's causing me a few headaches....and all this because Britain didn't sign up to the Schengen Agreement. If you are from the Schengen Agreement area then the Visa application is A5 sized! for the Brits it's 5 x A4!

I do know where I'm going, but the track it will decide, It's not the destination, It's the glory of the ride!
I'm still here and get out most Sundays, my self and a couple of buddy's bumped into Pete, Ads and the others out by Bovey Tracey a couple of weeks back, just before Ads did his dancing with bikes stunt on piggery. Im going to be taking a little break over the Christmas period (nothing more than a short run on local turf), but I will be posting a ride out around the end of Jan and its another beauty.
Have a good Christmas buddy and I look forward to catching up with you in the new year.
