Yet another newbie from Plymouth

Hi all,

My name is Justin and I live in Plymouth, I have been riding road bikes since 1996.

All my bikes up to date have been road bikes apart from the six months between my CBT and my full UK license, when I owned a "Y" reg DT 50, I loved that little bike.

This is the first time I have tried laning and can't wait to get out there and give it a go, I finally persuaded my missus that I needed another bike, and so I bought a "97" KLX 250, I have to say she wasn't overly thrilled but at least the kids love it (it's green).

Anyway, my aim now is to find a friendly group to show me how to ride and enjoy the lanes properly and legally, and hopefully at some point get the opportunity to join the TVTR's officially.

Hopefully see you all soon, Justin.

Hi Ian,

Apologies for the late reply, I have been so busy with family birthdays and events the last few weeks, I have'nt been able to find a moment to sit down spend some time on here and the DTRF site let alone try and find some ridding time.
Because of the hours I work and the hours my wife works, at the moment Sundays would be the best time for me get out, I'm self employed so if I'm quiet or tempted I could do the occasional Wednesday but not until after 09:00 (got to do the school run first), Fridays and Saturday's are probably the worst day's of the week because I would have to find a babysitter.

I have to be honest though, I am a novice in every sence of the word, so my pace would be leisurely at best and ruts scare the life out of me at the moment, but if your in no rush to get anywhere fast and feel like having few laughs at someone else's expence then I'm definitely your man.

I'm based in the St.Budeaux area so Saltash is only a stones throw away from me, it would also be great to become familiar with lanes that are right on my doorstep as well.

Well, thanks very much for the invite, hopefully I will get the chance to meet you soon.

Justin.
