Watch out South Wales here i come

A new opportunity at work has arisen and im off over the bridge from Bristol where im currently living, the new area is NewInn just outside Pontypool , its only 26 miles from Bristol but will make life easier living "Over the bridge".

I still plan to visit Devon at least once a month with the bike so im sure i will catch up with some of you soon. I'm not to sure whats avaliable to ride in my new area so any advice or contacts would be great. And if anyone is planning a trip to wales let me know , once i have got sorted with the local knowledge id be happy to show anyone around the lanes that i hope exsist !!

Well good luck in South Wales, I am sure there will be plenty who will take up the offer of a tour around your new patch.

All the best

Chris

All the best.......I guess you will be taking your stick with you, wield it with care, such a powerful wand might get you into trouble with the wooly locals. When I belonged to the Bristol TRF many moons ago ,we used to get a days riding in starting at Pontypool, near the crematorium ending up by the big radio mast.Hopefully those lanes are still available.Catch up soon and good luck.

cheers mike

Hi Simon

You will be just up the road from Abercarn where the Welsh special needs ride takes place. Caerphilly MCC are a great bunch of guys and my mate Neil Adams (known to all as nibbs) will give you all the help you need and put you in touch with like minded people. I have only been to Wales through biking but love the place and have made some great friends there that come down and support our event. All the best and I am sure you will love it and if you need any more help please get in touch.

Ross
