(Clue - not many of you know the sane chap on the other bank)
Last clue - there's only 90 seconds between the first and last picture.
These photos were taken on Sunday last (27th June '10) on a short bimble out to test my bike and the "sane one's" bike. Mine drowned in another river but I rescued it in approx 2 mins and the Sane One's bike decided to stop charging the battery. That's OK though as he has both an electric start and a kick start - unlike mine!

Here's another clue to how I took the photographs...
We must have ridden past Lizzzzizzzz (sorry got lost in the Spelling Bee then) house as we started from Widewell. The river was quite low but my bike was drowning out as I had no valves on the carb breathers. The 'Sane One' lived up to his name by not attempting it. The flow of water is quite immense.

Good video. Yes the crossing's the same but the water looked lower than Sunday? The route across from the North is to loop East. That misses the nuclear sub parked in the middle.

Well one of a group with me crossed it yesterday both ways. Wasn't to deep but looked very slippery and rocky. Not a feet up exercise for sure, so for long legged or short bike people only
