yes please, like to come, half day like chris please till about 1pm, by them my knees and shoulder will have had it, also jeff, but will confirm when i can get hold of him
That was fun! I had time to go look at a couple of my local lanes..... 059 shows signs that the farmer has removed a lot of the farm rubbish and felled trees, you may possibly be able to walk down from the top end... a request to clear it was mentioned to the farmer by the nice man at Devon Highways. However someone has poured tonnes of stinking, minging farm slurrey into the lane, so you would be positively discouraged!....... and the felled trees and farm rubbish have been dumped into the middle section of 058!... the good bit with the steep little climb! +++ a load of black plastic sacks full of someting inoquious!
Big thanks to Big G et al for an excellent run today, never ever ridden off road in Cornwall so well impressed with the fab route you chose. Beautiful weather, great company, civilised toilet breaks and Devon Air Ambulance on standby, such organisation!

Bu**er... I carry 21 and 18 inch tubes in my back pack... and tyre levers and a Slime
Should have returned to the beggining of the lane instead I spent the time removing the tree Big G hat entangled himself and Katoom in!!!
sorry rob, had a tyre tube and pump also, thought you had gone back with chris, see you on another ride, dont sell the bike, green laneing far too much fun, kev
Thanks to ALL for being PROMPT (except one) First time I have had such a big group but it went realy smoothly except poor Chris (Hope its sorted now) and Frogbiker , I dont think slime and tube would fix the hole in that Tyre, I would recomend the one swampy fitted on my bike instead of a MT43 very grippy. Regards the route well all off memory having done it before and I do love Lerryn for Coffee, I agree if we can do 8am starts should get points from them at home? Next time I would like to do the lane that looks like you drive over somebodys front lawn as memory has let that one lapse. Also think I had the Badger of the day on Duloe entrance unless any one would admit better Possible Dave in the Mud on all fours I heard? One problem at the front you don't see others having fun but my thanks goes to Neil as the TEC it's always DIRTY and at the front you stay realy clean. I will be looking to go for a ride in the evenings on Wednesday/Thursday 6pm start back by 9pm if you are intrested just let me know. Next ride for a Saturday will be 30th April from Saltash-Liskeard-Callington I will post later.
Just demonstrating how a proper badger manover should be carried out to Kar1e because she had never seen one before. Burying logs under the mud is a bit unfair!!!!
thanks guys but i did put a can of tyre slime in but the hole was bout 30mm long and the tyre was worse than that could put two fingers in it not a hope rather than hold all up was best to call it a day its all sorted now but thanks again
Can't really explain what happened on Saturday. Bike Started second kick that morning, rode all the way from Tavistock to Saltash taking in as many lanes as I could en route. Got to the filling staion and filled up with fuel and then nothing. On the first lane after it failed to start again Neil had a play with the mixture and leaned it out a little I believe, so once going decided to head straight home (taking in as many lanes a possible). Got home and left it for five minutes, then just tickled the kick start and the blasted thing started first time. Left for another five minutes and started first kick again. Took it for another quick blast and it was running really smooth and powerful thanks to Neil's tuning service. Came back home put in new plug and again all OK.
In summary I think it must have been a weak spark and a too rich mixture.
Shame to miss out on this run Gerald I hope to join you again in a couple of weeks. Thanks to all that helped get me going.
Glad to hear you both got back OK. The Idle mixture was set very lean so I wound the mixture screw out about 1 turn more which is quite a lot on these Carbs. Glad to be of some help Chris. Till next time, Cheers, Neil.
