Sat 6th February Tavistock - Winkleigh (Part Duex)

Repeat of the run we did a few months ago.  I very much hope the weather will be a bit more clement and we can get to all the lanes without freezing.

Start at Morrison's Tavistock at 0900 please be prompt we have a long way to go. This I hope will be at a fair pace as I have the usual time limit and would like to be back for around 1400hrs.

Riders:
Chris M
Jim Law
Neil
Mike
Big G
Frogger
LandyMan

Best say rides full.

See you all Saturday morning

Excellent, thanks Neil that's TEC sorted.

really good day out- thanks Chris for leading it so well

( the weather was a significant improvement on the first attempt ).

Thanks all for great company and Graham for taking the unfortunate  but consummate roosting with such dignity. The new jacket and helmet do now look properly worn in.

great fun

Cheers
Mike

Thanks all it was a great day, that was largely taken up with accidental roosting due to the soft mud (Mike consider your card marked!).  We managed to get to all the lanes bar one which was a fantastic effort.
191-035 never fails to disappoint being slighlty submerged along most of its length. 191-032 with its gated ford and quite a substantial amount of rain the night before also proved a interesting challenge.

Below are some shots of 191-020, the ford looked a tad deep and the river was in full flow so we decided to take the 'other' option.

Nice to see Jim out again after a substantial hiatus, hopefuly he will now put in a regular appearence.

Til next Time

Chris
