Tax disc holders.

It seems that simply buying a tax disc isnt enough, you are actually expected to display it on the vehicle to which it applies. Leaving it in the envelope it came in for a year til it runs out is apparently an offence!!!

I've seen a few people with the clear plastic flexi ones that wrap around the top of the fork leg. So far I havent been able to find one anywhere. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Photo copy it, laminate it, cut it out and stick to fork leg. The photo copy bit is probably not legal so you can laminate the original one if you wish.

Exactly as Ross says. I laminate the original. It gets pressure washed and is still as good as new when it gets removed a year later.

My bike came with a laminated one on the fork leg and when renewall came I took the old one off, stashed the new one in my wallet saying I will get it laminated and there it has stayed since last April!

cut one piece of sticky back plastic bigger than the tax disc and put the tax disc on top of the sticky side, they put a larger rectangular section on top sticky side down, effectively laminating the disc and allowing you to apply it to the fork leg.

I think this thread is turning into something that only young men will know about. Sticky backed plastic? What's that if it isn't Fablon?
