Unfortunately i can't make this run which is a bummer coz your runs down Cornwall are awesome smile My RA is back with a vengeance and i really need to lay off all exercise for the foreseeable future cry

On a positive note, i bought a 51 plate Peugeot Expert 2.0 HDI 110 BHP van yesterday, it's minters biggrin needs a bit of a service filters/oil ect but am really pleased with it and it also means any i can come on any runs further afield now.

Adam..... have you looked at Gold injections... worked with a Proffessor Waltham Weeks in 70s ( in my Medical Days) who was getting some good results.

Misery amidst the rotting scraps of the ships stores!

Have just discovered that The Admiral has summoned me to council until 2 of the clock on Saturday!
Maybe I can join this motley crew for a few lanes in the pm?
Fixer, a route path please.

Glum in the sun!

Thanks for the tip Withybrook smile i have looked into every conceivable remedy for RA from natural remedies to meditation techniques to all the new and up coming drugs including more controversial "herbal" remedies, there is nothing anyone can do or any drug that can help when your in a flare up, you just have to grin and bare it and ride it out.

Seeing the Rheumatologist soon, hopefully he will have a plan up his sleeve for me, i live in hope smile

Sorry Andy may have to drop out of this onehmm depending on Fowlers of Bristol/Damerells. Finally got round to changing my rear brake pads and decided it would be easier and safer to completely overhaul the rear caliper as it was in such a statebleh. So it was duly stripped down and and sand blasted now waiting on new seals and pad retaining pins, as the old ones had to be drilled and removed using easy outsconfuse. Then just a case of replacing brake fluid and bleeding the rear system.
What maintenance on my bike, with my reputation
