I reported last month that the PRoW Committee agreed this should be a Restricted Byway i.e. vehicular rights were proved, but that we did not have any evidence to prove a NERCA exception to get a BOAT. However, I have seen the lane appearing on run records where it has been called "Foghanger".
Martin Cooper says "This is a great lane around 1/2 mile long and is currently passable. Not much evidence of use with few ruts although I did spot the odd tyre tread mark. Lane gets quite wide, around 5metres, in the middle. Mostly well drained soil base with the odd damp or muddy area.".
So far I have UEFs from Steve Whetman, Maria Morris, and Martin Cooper.
Have you ever ridden this lovely lane or know former members or non-members who have? Any period will be useful but use between the "NERCA" relevant dates of 1 May 2001 to 2 May 2006 will be the most helpful. The following link takes you to an evidence form and map which I should be grateful if you would get completed and posted back to me. Don't forget to sign the map please! http://trfdevon.org.uk/Claim_216.doc

Let's get behind this one as it would be nice to make this lane a 'legal' route.
