Well, I'm up for this without a doubt!

Can't do this particular occasion as I plan to be in Welsh Wales look you, gadding about with the sheep and stuff.

The 525 may be available to borrow if required on the "U bend it, U mend it" understanding. Just give me a chance to sort my life out having been away for a month and a half.

Sounds good, I would be interested in having a good old thrash about.

Though I did think that this track was predominately for the kids to ride in a legal safe environment. I would hate to think that we would be intimidating young riders on big four strokes or vice versa smile.gif

Apparently it's as big as Landrake track and they've held a round of the British Championship there I believe.

Following on from this thread, i have just had a meeting with Dave Shears at the Plymouth Moto Park. I was blown away with the size of the track and Dave's enthusiasm in keeping the course running professionally and smoothly.

There is ample parking, first aid at every meet, the course is well maintained, long with sweeping bends, whoops and table top jumps, awesome sums this track up nicely!

We would get full use of the track and a discount if we made up the numbers, it would make for a brilliant days ridding and a great social get together for us trail riders. We need 60 people to hire the track for the day, alternatively anyone of us can attend for £20 a day or £15 after one o'clock.

Opening times are from 9.30 ish to 4.00 alternative Saturdays the 18th being the next open day.

For more information call Dave Shears on 07812392843 or 01752-518253

The entrance isn't marked but, i managed to find it so it won't be hard for anyone else.

Good research Adam, but how much for our private use of the track? Discount is mentioned but no final figure. Bob.

looks like fun smile any idea what the average number of riders is ?

i can see visions of many strokers racing each other evileyeevileyeevileye

Doing the sums it would equate to £1200 for a private day less a discount ........

Thanks Bob,

Dave did mention if we wanted the track for our own use it would be £15 a rider for the day based on a group of sixty, although that's not set in stone, we would have to talk to Dave nearer the time to negotiate a discount if were going as a group.

If we went as a smaller group we would still have an area set aside for us for parking and BBQ's ect, I am not sure what sort of discount we would get with a smaller group but i am sure he would offer some sort of reduction.

It's a small world as it seems Dave knows several of my old school ridding friends from nearly 20 years ago!

I really can't praise this Motor Cross set up enough, it really is an excellent circuit with plenty of room for parking, toilets and first aid on hand, superb biggrin i can't wait to give my bike a thrashing, it's been pottering around for to long and needs it's cob webs blown out.

Adam, I reckon I'll be there next weekend riding for team '4 bangers'

I haven't ridden a track for a long time, its quite addictive and very exhausting.

Anyone else up for team 4 banger?

Chris

If I wasnt going to be in Wales I'd definately be up it.

Havent ridden a track in a while - those table tops scare the life out of me , be good to have another bash at them. Let me know when you/if you plan to go again, and I'll join you.

Adam,

It's a date in my Diary. I will ride there and get an early start at 0930hrs and stay for as long as I dare, or I can meet you en route.

My MX skills are awful but I enjoy the trying to get it right bitsmile.gif. I also enjoy the jumps which are few and far between in green laning.

I also can't wait to get my 19" crosser wheel back on with a used once Maxxis on the rear.

Chris
