Well after an amazing couple of days riding C2C the day arrived to collect my new bike from JD, as promised by Rob the bike looked stunning, a gentle ride to Andy's for a cuppa and chat and it was time to introduce her to her first set of lanes, armed with a route and map from Andy it was off to Tim's place enroute back to Totnes. Needless to say she performed perfectly, the map switch making a noticable difference , the power very nice and smooth, the clutch was a dream (from cable to hydraulic) and the brakes do the job they were designed to do with great feel.
So in a nutshell I love it and can't wait for the next outing
Excellent news, and proof was in the eating.... sorry... riding eh! As you say, handsome bike but what about your sign-off, what will we see next!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that a poor dejected XR I see in the background of the first picture? Cast on the scrapheap, superceeded by a newer, younger, slimmer and more beautiful model. Thats very cruel, blatantly showing of your new toy right under its nose!!!
Tell everyone where you're keeping the new baby Simon!
In his bed I rekon, proof the XR is cast aside was when he threw it down the hill side on that steel hill on way home on tuesday!!!!!!!! But hey why not take a younger model to bed.
