I've just been to see Devon Tees in Ermington and they've given me a price on having our own T shirts printed up.
The badge (the one you get to stick on your bike when you become a TVTR Member) will be sublimated onto a white, heavy, good quality T shirt. The price is £7.65 inc Vat, min order 15.
Sizes XS to XXL
By sublimating the badge logo on it will make it permanent as it bonds to the polyester in the T shirt. It will last as long as the shirt, which is good quality.
Please let me know if you are interested as it's a 7 - 10 day turn round so we could have them for the next Social Gathering!
I'm also getting a price for embroidered Rugby shirts but that will take longer and the 'guesstimate' is £17.50 each!
Good idea Fixer, and I had only just finished guessing what our coat of arms would look like.....but what, no latin inscription? Yes please, large size.
My Latin is not very good, but something rubbed off in 6 years of it.
The prettyest translation would be ::
viator super forensis sequor....
which translates approximately to... travelling over legal trails
the direct translation of riding is inrideo, but quirks of latin grammar make it an awkward word to use as contextually it can have a change in meaning to perscicuting/ punishing??

This is in the present perfect
Hope this helps!!
Blimey, we've some smart cookies in our trail club
I like withybrook's latin interpretation for our club's motto, we should go for it! although i think Fixer's already designed the logo's so it might be a pain to change now?
Fixer has all the art tools to hand and I'm sure he had only done quote requests. So while some are hung up on background colour, might we not consider the beautiful rendition of David's to add some tongue in cheek fun into our perfectly serious badge/coat of arms? Are we rushing into this before we have had time to discuss acceptance, eh Mr Fox?
