Today, Phil and I braved the elements - well, just the one really, the COLD - and went off to discover a few ORPAs littered around the South Hams. Suffice it to say, all but one were tarmac! One was a continuation of 202-226 and we'll be checking it out come summer to see if we can ford the Erme River. We also rode the tidal road at Averton Gifford and the tide was over the road. Half way over the first ford and I realised we were on ice below and it was touch and go whether we'd fall off! We both made it and went on to clear the Tunnel of Love (202-258) and you can now ride the lane a lot more easily. We haven't cleared it enough but it's navigable sat down without ducking now. A very big 'Thank You' to Phil for all the hard work he put in today THANK YOU
