Could I please have some volunteers for a ride out into Cornwall where we'll be spending a couple of hours lane clearing Trewandra - it's near Tideford Cross.
This is a fabulous lane which needs pruning and the Cornwall TRF have arranged to go in on this day and do it. It would be a great flag waving exercise if we could muster 6 or more bods to help out. You will need to bring handtools (pruning saw, secateurs, billhook whatever but no power tools) and we can turn this lane back into a fabulous ride. Cornwall TRF are starting at 10am at Trewandra Farm and I said we'd be on bikes so we'll start at the Southern end and work towards them. There is no serious work just pruning to be done.
Meeting at Saltash Moto Services (there's parking for vans etc on the Ind Est opposite - where J D Racing are) at 09.30 please.
Now's your chance to show Cornwall CC and Highways that we are caring sharing people.

I think we could apply some Six Sigma processes to this project , i think FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis) process could be good ! Or maybe maybe some FT (Functional Transformation) to stramline the process including NVAT (No Value Added Time) within a process.
Sounds interesting ?
Well trust me its not, pulling teeth with rusty pliers would be more interesting
I think you can just FO or SIUYA! I'll leave you to work that one out.
Now that you've graduated we will, as a group, be looking to you for leadership during the lane clearing. You will need to lead by example and no delegating is allowed until you've proven your mastery of the situation.
To the rest of you, that means Two Thumbs gets to clean the cacky bit out at Slurry Pit Farm!

Sorry I'll be away for this one. Anyway I'm sure you wouldn't want it to be raining. If it is however the only other person who is always around when I am is Fixer, so maybe he is the real Rain Monkey! Have a dry day. David
Rain Monkey rode with us on the 20th Dec and it rained, until he left early and it gotr sunny. I rode on the 23rd, 26th and 28th December and it was dry........the Rain Monkey is definitely David! Fixer
Miss Scarlett has asked me to post this invitation up....
We are all invited to attend her sister's 'open house' after the lane clearing for coffee and mince/apple pies. The interesting bit....Miss Scarlett's sister lives at SX2965 6015 and there's plenty of room for bikes!
If we can clear the lane and get a few more in we should be able to attend at approx 2pm.
