Provisionally put me and Phil down for this one please. I might have to bail early as i've got to go to Lynnes works do.I'll confirm by Thu night at the latest.

Been on Thumper talk to see if the problem with my bike is a common fault with the model and low and behold YES it is. The original battery is "pants" and won't recharge itself. Plus my battery has a bloody great dent in it, probably where the previous owner got fed up trying to charge it every 2 mins!! Due to it being an Enduro bike the altenator is at the bare minimum. So to rectify the problem and make me very happy with my Bogey machine :- New battery and a switch for the headlight. (whats that i hear comming from the Ivybridge area???

"I told you that weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Yes ok Andy, very good.................smart arse!!

Please note change of route, we'll be starting in Ivybridge 09.00, picking up at Roborough 10.00 and doing a few Cornish lanes before re-entering Devon at Horsebridge.

Sonny and Cap'n Slow have time constraints so this means a reasonably early finish around 3pm

Being the 13th is this the real wet one or is it going to be blown out by the morning? Dare say there may be some tree debris to contend with, as if I don't have enough problems staying on the bike as it is!!!

See ya tomorrow.

A Fabulous day out and thank you all for your company. I hope you all got home OK and that you were waremer than me! That wouldn't be hard if you had a pulse!
So what was the name of the gloves we all want?

An excellent days riding thanks Andy.

Was soooo warm, even after the longish ride back and a jetwash en-route.

Ah the gloves................... their the best

A great day today, great lanes, great company , oh and great big puddles !!!

After Andy peeled off the A38 it was me on my own back to Totnes , stopped for fuel at the Shell opposite the Woodpecker 2 mins out of the petrol station the front of the bike felt loose , sure enough a quick glance and the lack of air was obvious , i figured it was a slow puncture so would stop at Avonwick garage, it was closed  nonono. So i decided to go as far as i could safely, by an amazing stroke of luck the old garage with naff cars and pre war petrol pumps just by the Diptford turning was open !!

I woke the grumpy owner who was having a snooze in the workshop ! and got my air, a quick dash, 2 lanes and was home Phew !!!

I,m gonna get me some of them gloves

What a great day.  Just enough rain to keep me in abuse from Andy but then the sun came out.  The precedent has been set.  A few nice lanes then a tea stop and a chat to get to know people, then a few more nice lanes before a very pleasent lunch with more chat. Then some more lanes. Loverly!  Far more interesting than just muttering to myself inside my helmet waiting for a cold pasty stop at 1500!  Great Day Great Company.  Thanks you all. David

We always have two stops when you're with us David...it gives us a chance to get out of the rainsmile. Yes, it was a good day, nothing in the report about the numerous Badgers that were in my view, perhaps I forgot to tell Andy?
