Weekend in Wales.

At the next TVTR meeting i am going to be asking if anyone is interested in a weekend away trail riding in Wales.

In a nutshell:-
Travel up to Rhayader on Fri a'noon.
A full days guided trail riding on the Saturday.(100 mile + with a very experienced guide/mechanic)
Use of a 10 mile enduro circuit on the Sunday.
Back home Sunday late a'noon/early evening.

The pub/hotel we will be staying in is fully geared up to looking after trail riders.
(secure parking, drying facilities, maintenance area, etc)

As long as we get a minimum of 6 the cost will be £95 per person for the weekend. (Max 10)

You'll need money for fuel, beer, and evening meals.(and more beer money just incase!!)

I'll have full details with me at the meeting but have a think about it between now and then. Check your diarys and get the leave passes in early.biggrin
I'm thinking of mid Nov/early Dec.

Come on you lot - whats the matter with you?
I'd have thought a weekend in foriegn parts being shown round by someone who knows where they are going would be a bit more popular than this. For those that havent been , Wales is a brilliant place for trail riding. Lots of space, very few road miles, and a population of amiable lunatics. Give it a try, you might like it.

Sounds great to me but depends on the weekend as not all are free.  David

Sorry SONNY this sounds fabulous, but unlike Tim I don't even know where the book of passes is kept let alone writing my own.

Have a good one

Chris

Would love to join you for this trip Sonny. Will need to know exact date before i can say 'yes for sure'  Plenty of time / notice to earn brownie points as well would be good. Big Jim, Bob, Fixer and me have just had a blast in Wales (Cambrian Rally) its brilliant trail riding country.
