Just a note to thank Jeff and Adam for arranging the trip. Shame that Cornwall TRF members (with the noteworthy exceptions of Ross and Tom) didn't support it. However, that was our good fortune, they missed some fun and some good lanes. Also to be mentioned, the grace with which they provided both human and bike transport. Many thanks I'm sure from those of us who were ferried with bike and kit both to and fro.
Yes it was a shame there were only 4 of us from Cornwall when Cornwall arranged it! Its really more annoying when a certain person made such a fuss on the cornwall forum that spaces were taken so quickly then when they were offered the chance to ride as more spaces became available didn't take it! Oh well there loss!!!
Oh no no no no no , yes!. In fact the bike went dolphin dipping, not I. I was dragging it out of a rut which seemed mighty deep when it overbalanced and fell into the water. I, myself, personally, ( over the top but I must absolve myself from any blame) was unscathed and standing on the 'verge' of the rut cussing the Serow, because, like most women, she always has to 'go off the deep end'. If you don't understand that then you certainly aint from Lundun.
Good weekend, good riding, good food, good company, good to make new friends, good ride report so I would say it was good then.
Well done and thanks to those who made it happen.
Not so good Richard's bike came off the trailer on the 303 on the way home after one of the straps broke. Luckily my quick reactions to hearing F**K my bikes falling off avoided any damage.
PS Who is responsible for my advatar? Thanks anyway it's very apt!!
Hi Don, I'm pleased you've sorted the bike out but obviously saddened about the new TRO's. I hope you do come down for a bimble around, it will be our pleasure to return the compliment and give you your just rewards for that succession of deeply rutted lanes you introduced us to. Please pass on my best wishes to Richard when you see him.Bob
