After a much needed rest from the days tour on the 9th it was time for the big event on the 14th.
14 riders had entered the 13km Enduro that lasted for two hours.
So on a very hot 30 degrees day we all meet around 1000, got kitted up and went off for a practice lap or two. After an hour I finally got back to the start after coming off four times at one hill and by the time I got to the hardest incline I was to knackered and dehydrated to continue. After a rest and some water I plodded on but only managed to do two race laps within the given time. I've never done any riding that's so knackering that pushes you to the limits. But having said that it was a great experience which I want to do again.
The winner was a once Scottish Enduro champion Nicky Beavitt, who's lap time averaged 23mins and made it look all so easy
The following are some video's of the days event.
