Great day..... Big thanks to Justin for leading the way, apart for the first lane, where he sent us Guinea pigs through first biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.  Also a big thanks to Charlie for spinning up his rear in piles of sh*t. Revenge was so sweet though pal winkbiggrinwink.

Couldn't face cleaning the bike and gear when I got back as I couldn't feel my hands, so left it for this morning. What a mess LOL.

Anyway, so glad to get back to it, had a right laugh. Until next time.....

(Nice vids and pics btw)biggrin

Glad you all had a great day and thanks for the awesome comments, yes I did let you all tackle the first lane before me, I was assessing your rider capability's, just to make sure you could all handle the day ahead.
It had nothing to do with the fact that I got stuck in that muddy pit last week, that one takes no prisoners and on this occasion it was Steve piper who got stuck in the mud, hahaha biggrin.

Well due to popular demand, we decided to have another attempt at the Dartmoor run, we tried this last week but the ride was ended prematurely as I drowned my bike on 202-007, this week however we avoided this lane.

We met at Chaddlewood garage again for 08:30 ready to leave for 09:00, Steve Piper got two extra text messages this week as he got the time wrong last week and rolled up at 09:30, surprise, surprise nobody was there.

This week Dave suggested that we did a race number run for a giggle, we had to stick a race number of our choice on our bikes, Dave claimed that the number 13 was his lucky number, text messages soon went round the group and on the day all but Dave rolled up with 13 on their bikes, Dave rolled up with 76, hmmmm that didn't go to plan but was still funny.

As per last week we started with 202-157, as I was the only one to get stuck leading through here last week, I sent the group through first and then followed once a successful path had been established (Steve Piper got stuck).

Once we pulled Steve out we then did 202-158, 159, sometime between Sunday 6th and Sunday 13th 202-120 has had work done filling in the severe erosion caused by the rain fall we've had recently.

We then used 202-338, 085, 076, 041, 042, then on to the 191's with 191-096, on the way to 191-086 we met some riders with horses or horses with riders depending on if your cup is half full or half empty, and half way along 191-084 we met them again, very friendly bunch.

We then moved on to 191-083 with a group decision to stop at the same burger van we stopped at last week for an early lunch.

Now feeling full we set off for 191-068, 069 with a lovely ford crossing, 075 then into Bovey garage for some fuel and a coffee or in my case a warm milk no(second week in a row).

We then set off for 191-091 only to find that James managed to strip his front cog of all but 3 teeth, the solution was to tighten his chain so it was like a piano wire then point him in the direction of Plymouth and hope for the best (He got home fine).

We then used 191-091, 101, 089, we all cleaned Simm's apart from Steve Piper (his first time on Simm's and he was sporting a knobbly rear biggrin), whilst laughing and talking at the top of Simm's the entertainment arrived in the form of a group of lads and a couple of 4x4's the lad did very well and seemed to climb the hill with ease, the second lad failed miserably and then got embarrassed by the fact we were all watching and cheering, after this we got back on the bikes and did 191-087 were we met another solo laner going the opposite direction.

We then tackled 191-089 all successfully climbed to the top, 101, 103 then back into 202 territory with 202-027, 026, 046, 066, by now the group had mostly swapped bikes with each other and at the end of 202-058 Jon's front tyre had gone flat thanks to Dave who was adamant that it must have been going down at the start of the lane (yeh right Dave nobiggrin).

Once the puncture was repaired we set off for 202-056, 057, Danny had a badger on 065 and then was plagued by his side stand engine cut off switch playing up, we then did 202-294, 090, 390, 089, 088, 096 which was great fun to climb, 130, on the entrance to 202-129 its known to get a little muddy and sure enough both Shaun and myself got well and truly stuck, what a site two KTM's stood upright in the mud, Mac mad it past us along the edge only to loose his balance and with no footing ended up going for a mud bath.

Once we got through the field we did 202-172, 171, 179, at the top of devils steps we decided it was too dark to carry on with candle lights on most of out handlebars, so we had a natter said our good bye's and took the easy route down 202-178 and made for home.

Thanks to all that attended, it was another cracking days ridding full of laughs and the usual banter.

Until next time.
