Novice rides

I have recently bought an off road bike (ttr 250 ) and although Ive done road riding for some years, this off road stuff is a new venture. I'm interested in any very novice ride outs in my area. I live at portgate, near lewdown. I have a trailer so can go a bit further if needed. I am of mature years !!!! so any help to get a bit more experiance  would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Stephen

Agree with your tyre choice kev- especially the rear.  nice to see you are out of hibernation.

Stephen- dont forget some protective riding gear- shin and elbow protectors as a minimum along with decent boots- you are likely to have a spill or too early on.

Like Kev I can take you on a gentle bimble arround the lanes if you like- bit booked up jan but feb looks better-

cheers

cheers mike, with moving and that, thrown things up in the air for a while,( at gunnislake now) bikes at flashmans getting sorted and new lid ordered ( broke visor ) so hoping to get mobile again soon, and steve, can recommend mike to look after you, knows the lanes north of tavy well ; ) and well experianced, though may want to coat you in mud ; )
