As my better half decided to buy me a GoPro camera for my birthday the other day, I thought that Wednesday offered the best weather for testing it out...
So off I went
Filled up at Brixton at 0830. I had a hassle free ride as I made my way east. As to be expected, due to our recent rainfall, there was a lot of standing (and running) water in the lanes. Some puddles were extremely deep. I did however plough through each one, but I was slightly anxious on more than one occasion. Especially as I had nobody on hand to assist if needs be.
This was my first time riding around Totnes and beyond, and I must admit...... You lucky gits. There is such a good mix of lanes there and all so close to each other.
I managed to inlclude 202-099 (Tally-ho) but entered it from the top (southern end). I had the intention to attempt to climb this one, but suffered a front puncture on my way down. I made my way to 202-098 where I managed to find a few rocks to prop the DRZ up. Luckily I always carry a couple of tubes and tools. Took about half hour (a tyre change Mclaren would be proud of)
I then started my journey back to Plymouth via Avonwick. Checking in on 202-129 which is still blocked, so a detour was required.
The main purpose of the day was to get used to GoPro. Hopefully, if I manage to edit/upload vids I'll post them on here. (All new to me this movie making)
thanks for sharing that, good video, looks like you had an eventful day, nice lanes over totnes way, did you have one of those go pro chest harness thingies on? kev
