Had my fridge fixed by Kev Doyle on Fri and as always bikes came into the conversation. Cut a long bike ride short I'm now looking at a WR 425 and becoming a member. I've always had bikes since I was 14 and raced a 490 Maico during the Graham Noice era then had a few seasons in the chair of a 750 Norton Wasp. Bike bike have past since then and got ride of my last bike 15mths ago. Always missed going off road and once a bike........well you guys know the rest!!!! I understand from the web site the the club has a meeting at the Rock Inn on Thursday 8th. Look forward to meeting some of the rider for some helpful tips and advise. As for Kev, Happy Anniversary and agree not good if you went to the meeting?!?!?!? Mac

First meeting with club members

Went to my first and hopefully many meetings with club members last night. Interesting evening and learnt a few things. One was "Don't get a WR426 and especially without an electric start" plus if I do "get good protective clothing and a good insurance plan"!!!!! Got me thinking and this morning spoke with the guy whom Im getting the Yamaha from and agreed to pull out of the deal. Thanks guys!!!!!!! So if anyone has a bike for sale in the 400cc range but not a 500+ thumper then please give me a call on 07530. 415918. Mac

Yea I hear you, but it was one against many and facial expressions lead me to think on it.
I'm sure it's a great bike for more experienced riders and look forward to riding with you and other members in the near future.
