My wife said did i fancy a dirty weekend away... I said i did, promptly bought another KTM, and went off racing !
Completely lost track of time as i was doing my 1st ever tyre change!
Holding 2 tyre irons and punching myself repeatedly! usually in the face but lots of dead arms and a few in the neck!!! now need a new front tube as i pinched my tube and the spare! not much fun but i now have a rear that is good to go but no front!
never thought it would take more than 2 days to change the tyres! started yesterday took most of the day to remove the bastards and now the rest of the day to fit 1 and puncture the other twice!!!!! so going to get a ultra heavy duty tomorrow to fit so all in all will only have taken 3 days!!!
Put a little bit of air in the tube before trying to fit. It will then take its shape on rim, therefore making it a little easier. Also prevents tube from twisting as you struggle to get it in there.
