As many of you who know me it has always been a struggle fro me to get out for more than a few hours at a stretch and also in the current economic climate with rising costs it was getting more difficult to justify keeping my bike and unfortunateky it came to crunch time, so my lovely Gas Gas has now gone to a new home.
I am now on hiatus, not giving up completely and hope to return as soon as possible when time and money allows.
I will very much miss all my friends that I have made over the past five years, but as I say its not forever and I will be back asap.
Please help support Jon keep the club active and alive whilst I am away.
Sorry to here that M8... you will be out and about on a bike soon.... do not have a 30 year gap like me tho! Good Luck and a happy and prosperous new year Dave
hi bud sorry to see you having a break i thought i seen my old gasser last week end and im just about to get out again just waiting for a few parts to arrive hope to see you back out again some time chears bud rob
Sorry to read that you are not about this year, understand the need to have a break, as Withy said dont leave it too long?
The good news to all is my knee has been fixed a review on the 13th January with Consultant hopefully to get an all clear to ride.
The bikes going to get an MOT and should be out Saturday 14th for a few hours? Sam is releaved as it will have been a year since my last ride and I have missed the lanes.
Sorry you've had to make such a difficult decision - but hopefully, as you say, this will only be short lived and you'll soon be 'owning' the lanes again (now no-one get political on that word please, its a phrase used by youngsters these days - so I thought I'd get 'jiggy-with-it'......... which isnt a phrase used by youngtsers these days!!!).
Anyway dude I know you'll be missed and hopefully you can stay in touch on here at the very least
Cheers
Mark
