Hi all. I have joined TVTR so I can get out there and have a great time on 2 wheels.
I have just sold my YZF1000R Thunderace (yesterday) and bought a 1995 XT600E (yesterday)... What a bloody difference!!! Gonna take a bit of getting used to, me thinks.
I am keen to join members soon on a ride if possible. I can't wait to get out there. I have really knobbly tyres on the XT and they are cr*p on the road (freightening actually). So I wanna get them stuck into some dirt.
hi danno, welcome to the TVTR, could be a challange on the XT round this neck of the woods on knobblies,more enduro based tyres as lanes slatety and slippery when wet, but im sure you will enjoy it, maybe next weekend if you fancy it, got some tickets for the first argyle away at shrewsbury on sat so grounded on sunday, kev
Work and family commitments permitting... Sounds good. Have you got any recommendations regarding tyres and where to get them locally. I deffinately want to get shot of the knobblies as they are blimmin' awfwful on the road. I dread roundabouts!!! lol. All the best. Danny
what size wheels are on a XT600 , our wheels are 21 inch front and 18 inch rear, if yours is the same should be ROAD LEGAL ENDUROS, pirelli MT43 is the norm for a rear on 18 inch rim
