Not really a ride report as I haven't got a clue where we went really, but my thoughts off the day.
I met chris at his house at 7.45 and once unloaded from the van we made our way to morrisons garage where we filled the bikes and met up with rob, bonnie and billy a warm welcome was given to a stranger (me) and we were off. The sun had decided to come out and play and it was warming up, The first slatey lane and I was stuck No traction it was damp and leafy and lots off slatey rocks were the first order off the day. We crossed a nice little ford which dampened your toes as you went threw a couple off more lanes were enjoyed and then we hit the tidal ford upper and lower i think?
It was great fun i must admit i thought i was going to either get stuck in the deep mud but i diddnt but someone did and then i thought im bound to be the one who falls off in the water but again i survived this there and back. but someone diddn't
Then we hit aload more lanes threw out the day and all off them was very enjoyable. The rain came in and made a few slippery and again I got stuck on another slatey hill.
I would like to thank the people for the following reasons.
Chris. for leading and putting on some good lanes and for all the pushing he done threw out the day(who needs to pump iron)
Billy. For showing me how to apply a mud bath to your bike and it did nothing for its complextion
Rob. For showing me how to wash your bike without the need for a pressure washer just totally chuck it in the river(And for being TEC)
Bonnie. Well just for being there (hope you got your tyre sorted ok)
And I must get my tyre changed for the next run.
I had a great day and it was nice to meet you all hope to see you out and about soon. Appologies but the video diddnt come out, too much skyline and trees it was set too high.
