I am most perplexed as to why when we insist on full 'proper' names to be in the forum members profile (you won't be granted access to the forum unless you put your full name when you apply to join - see T&C's for Forum) and yet people don't like putting the town where, or near where they live? The last two to be granted permission to post have listed UK and 'nowhere' as their location. It would be useful to know where people are just in case they or you need help? What do you think? Should we ask people to name their nearest town/city?

One can only imagine that they might be scared of and/or have been victim of some sort of newsgroup that have sold details onto scammers and spammers in the past. How location would offer any information I'm not sure?
We can only hope to encourage people that, we as TVTR members, would not offer any of this information voluntarily outside this forum. I think policing with a heavy hand is not the answer, we have nothing to hide so hopefully people will change their minds and offer their locality of their own free will.
