Haccadown - Sunday 22.8.10

Just to let you know that our annual event at Haccadown will be running on Sunday 22.8.10, riding from midday. Many thanks to Chairman Noel and neighbouring landowners for allowing us use again this year. Some setup and (especially) take down help will be needed, as well us volunteers to take turns during the day in directing bikes as they approach the sign-on area by the barn.  There will be a BBQ on site courtesy of the Edwards family.  The flyer for this and our other riding events is nowavailable online (A3 size, pdf).

£10 TRF members, £15 non-TRF members, road legal bikes only.

Best event of the year this one!!!  Try and make it if you can
Easy and Hard sections to suit all abilities

Hi Mike,

Yes please a lift would be great. I think they have all the help they require at the moment, but may need some volunteers to marshal on the the day.

I'll call off Wheely and the cyber bullying gang now!

Thanks

Chris

Hi Mike,

Riding starts at 1200 so I would say any time after 1100 hrs really. I expect the riding will go on till around 1700hrs so no rush.

So whatever suits you really.

Chris

If there's any cyber bullying it'll be heading Wheely's way this time!! He's dropped out and left me and Ben Wheely high and dry for a lift. Between Wheely, Ben and me we own a three bike trailer but I have no tow hitch on either of my vehicles! My cunning thinking got me asking Landy if he'd tow us in his Discovery but he couldn't make it for various reasons, not least his Disco blew it's head gasket this week! I thought all was lost and I'd have to miss this event for a 2nd year on the trot (I was on me hols last time) but alas, I've managed to blag my works van so Ben and I WILL be at Haccadown. Whooo!!! (and the petrols paid for too wink)

See ya both there.

well --what a great day out.

A fabulous track-Dustry dry to start, an interesting moist bit in the middle and dry again towards the end.

Really good fun- now totally knackered-  Good to see you all again- looking forward to the green lanes again soon.

Cheers all for a great day and good company ( especially Chris for the ticket in- much appreciated)

Mike
