Hi John,
Welcome to the Forum. You're lucky to live in the middle of some great Cornish Lanes.
Hope to see you out with us some time.
Cheers,
Neil.

PS; perhaps one of our moderators could move this post to the "want to tell the TVTR about yourself" area.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, hi Slick I have had a few KTMs and now settled for the 525 I know what you are thinkingconfuse I have had a 400 and a 450 I know they should be big enough for anyone!! but I tried a 525 in spain for a week and loved it, I have had this one for a couple years now it's a 2005 been great, I am out with six other bikes for a two day blast on Salisbury Plain 21st/22 Nov then I will have it back in Cornwall for the winter, looking forward to meeting you all.
Cheers John.

Yet another man with taste, I have the '06 525 and love it! Rode it in the Camel Vale wintry trial last weekend (my first official trial) attempted all sections and the special test, some were cleanedbiggrin but others not. disbelief
There was alot of neg feedback from other competitors about the size of my bikefurious especially when I held one section for a while as I struggled with a woodland bank with no run up or tractionconfuse!!!!!!! (very few others offered to help as I struggled) this bank was on the exit of section 19 after a bog that well over 50% of riders were getting stuck in (I sailed through it), what I am driving at is that if you like what you ride and don't mind a struggle occasionally stick with it and enjoy it, thats how you learn. Try and try again.

I hope to get to the meeting on the 12th if the kids are over thier sickness by then.
I believe thats now 4 TVTR members/potential members with 525'sevileye
Barney.

Hi Kev, guess it's horses for courses!! in Thetford forrest it's just the bike long fast bumpy rides with long stretches of sand keeping the front up and light with loads of speed it takes a good bike to keep with it but on short steep green greasy rocks!! and muddy banks!! it's a bit too much at times still love it, all bikes are a trade off in one way or another just got to keep getting better at it with out breaking any more bonesno always wanted to try a Kwak 220 two stroke for the slower slppy stuff oh no don't go there can't spend any more dosh at the moment.
