New KTM?, just 'dropped' into the posting as though it's of no import. C'mon Tim, spill the beans. Make those with inferior makes EXTREMELY jealous and those of us who've already seen the light EXTREMELY happy for you.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.

Bob.

Not a new new KTM. And not mine either.

Old friend from Bristol, who was responsible for getting me interested in trail bikes this time round, sold his WR 6 months ago after new children (twins!!!) arrived. He'd been looking around for a 400 exc, and I just happened to know where there was one that wasnt getting much use. Spoke to its owner, put one in touch with the other, and Bob's yer mothers live in lover!!!!

In fact I know its past 2 owners over thee last 30 months, and its been used 4 times in that period.
So Ollie got an 02 400 exc, with 3200 miles on the clock, all clean and tidy, new tyres, chain and sprockets, taxed and tested , for 1400 quid! Bargain, I think. We spent an hour or 2 on sunday morning doing a few bits and bats to it cos it hasnt been ridden for a year, then went out to play.
Needless to say he is delighted with it. Thinks its the best bike he's had, definately better than the WR he just got rid of.

Tim,I was speaking to Ben tonight after the Ermington PC meeting, you may not know him as he's a relatively new DGTRF member, and he's just bought a 2002 400exc. As a consequence of course, he's had to change his forum name. He's now 'Slick' (Formerly XRBitionist).
