After the rigours of Wheely's run last weekend I'm now sufficiently recovered to say........
Ride out on the 12th with a 9.15 start from either Roborough or Tavistock, dipping into Cornwall for lunch; out as far as Sourton for coffee then making our way back.
We won't be fast (what's new?) but after this recent rain it should give us a good workout.
Riders so far:
Me Bonny (showing off on her new bike) Jeff Dave Graham Kev Doyle Bob Crock Andy Lovett. Martin G.

That's great Kev, no probs. We'll be lunching at Louis' around 12.30 but if you can stay with us for an hour after lunch you'll have 6 good lanes under your belt ( and one crap one!) and not a slab of granite in sight!!!!. Up to you though mate, no pressure from me.
Just been out with the little dog and it is a bit soggy out there. Don't think you'll need all that kit Dave but sealskin socks will be useful I'm sure.
Hello Bob I was out with Jeff and Neil on monday and on their recommendation about your rides, i dont supose there is room for a wee one. I fully understand if not ive left it a bit late. cheers Martin
ANOTHER GREAT DAY OUT Thanks Bob..... and the "FEW" all "clean'd" the big "Gofen" Just as the sun was dipping into the west casting a final golden glimmer onto the steep ascent that becond beyond..... .....actually if was bloody dark!!!
Bob thanks for a lovely run out, in a beautiful part of the world, with great company, and some useful chaps to have on a run knowing there way round a bike with spanners particually Graham and Jeff nice one. Talking of Jeff well, just as i was avoiding this slimey, dirty, tidal puddle poor Jeffs throttle stuck open and shot past me completely covering me and bike in this stinky black mess. Luckely the force of the water must have freed the throttle by the time he reached the other side, weired that, and his bike seemed fine for the rest of the day. it made me laugh. Made it up that last one Bob not too sure how though just sort of hung on i think, it was a bit dark aswell. Thanks again Bob PS thanks to Dave for getting back to my van
I'm glad you fellas enjoyed it, I did too. Well done to you three 'newbies'. When I consider that you had only had ONE previous trail ride between you it was three pretty amazing performances, three rides full of grit, determination and courage. Sorry to hear that you were a bit sore this morning Andrew, I bet you weren't the only one though. To get home with body and bike intact, having had a good dose of fun, is always my aim and we all made it yesterday.
