As I've just returned from a motorbike holiday in France I would have to say that the SMT behaved impeccably......sat in the garage at home under lock, key and alarm! I had 12 days exploring the Limousin and Somme areas of La Belle France on my Valkyrie so the SMT had to keep the CCM company whilst I was away.
However, it's travelling to Scotland in the 'pikey van' next Friday and I'm taking a few days (and ferries) to see the West coast of Jockland with my son, Richard, and his friend Pete. Pete rides a Yam Bulldog (BT1100) and is one of the fastest riders Richard has been out with. That should make an interesting journey with me on the SMT, Richard on the Fazer Thou and Pete on his Bulldog showing us what a nutcase he is!
It's in for it's first service on Tuesday and then I can start to open her up a bit more. Should be interesting but not from an economy point of view as the mpg is quite severe at the moment.
