Wont be able to make this ride now, binned the Husky whilst avoiding 'Postman Pat and his Cat' in his/her red van on Fri 31/07 when I was out for a ride with 'Landyman', to see how his shoulder surgery was going to hold up.

End result was brush guard battered, patela protector split in half on new knee braces, ripped the sleeve out of enduro top and worsed of all tore one of the bicep muscles away from shoulder - so currently have an omnicep in left arm, with what is referred to as 'Popeye syndrome' to boot. Have appointment at hospital on 06/08 to let them decicde if they are going to stitch my muscle back in place or whether they are going to leave me with a cheap bicep implant. No contact with post van, and 'Landyman' managed to avoid running over me whilst I was down checking the condition of the South Hams tarmac.

So unlikely to be fit enough to make this ride, especially if it is goingto stay wet and it is as warned a challenging ride.

Have a good one though.

Bad luck Billy, I'm relieved it wasn't worse but I'm sure it was bad enough for you. Hope all goes well at the hospital. Bob

Yes, damn back luck Bill but could have been worst. Get well soon. I can however report my shoulder gave no problems during or after a 4 hour ride around the Totnes/Dartmouth area. Its been over a year and felt great! So I will see you on the 14th, UNLESS theres anything doing this Fri/Sat???? then I will see you sooner biggrin.

I'm not aware of any rides this weekend Graham but Calstock Bike Show is on. Google it for details. Bob.

PS. I had an email from Nigel Moore yesterday.(Nothing to do with bikes). Do you remember him?
