I went and found Geralds Farm this morning, paid my tenner and off i went, i went round the little track a couple of times to warm up and then onto the big track.
Thats where it went down hill, Literally, i spent two hours trying to get out of the valley, in the end a nice man called Chris showned me the sissy route out. I was so exhausted it was unreal.
It is a real test of ability or in my case, lack there of.
Can anyone confirm the up to date opening times for Geralds please? been about 5 years since I was out there last and keen to return to get some time in on the new KTM
End sunday of the month is 4 o'clock and the middle sunday is till 1 o'clock not sure on start time 9 or 10 i think ,went two sundays ago for the first time really enjoyed it , took a few days to stop aching after tho !
So its the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month 4nd sunday 0900-16;00 and the 2nd sunday 0900-1300?
How many were out there? Has he graded it at all? It used to get mega bumpy in some areas to the extent where it was dangerous out there. Be nice if some time was spent getting it sorted and make a great track. Look forward to seeing it again. Hoping to get there sometime but I will only be home for the 3rd Sunday of August : (

Tristan , to be honest i'm not sure if its open this weekend as july has 5 weekends so i'm abit confused , however i went on the 15 th of july which finished at 1 pm which was the 3rd sunday of July. Your right is was very bumpy and didn't seemed to be graded, was only my group of four riders and another group of three so noy many there .
Great to see its still in use I have Geralds number at home I will give him a ring to confirm dates when I am home next month. Very keen to get a few hours in round the track. There is a great Youtube video of the track that is fairly recent.
