*HELP* Urgently need to find some lovely bluebell woods/scenery

Not quite food for thought but ....................

My mum loves this time of year with all the bluebells and often went to walk at Womwell near Bigbury that has a lovely bit of coast and excellent woods covered in bluebells this time of year.

Unfortunately she used to go here with dad who passed away last year, so a revisit here would be too sad for her.

You guys all seem to know this countryside real well - so can any of you help on a local alternative for her ?? She is in Plymstock, but has car and will travel. Hopefully a dog friendly place too.

Thanks if you can

Mark.

If your mum wants a day out she is welcome to come to my place with dog and walk in the woods by the river camel. The woods are private so no other dogs or walkers and if I am at home she will get a cup of tea as well.

Hi Mark,

Lots of Bluebells out on the Plym valley cycle track at Plymbridge. It makes for an easy walk being flat.

How is the 450?

All the best.

Chris

Thanks a lot guys you've given me a lot of good places to try and some great help too.
She is popping over tomine tomorrow eve so I'll choose one from the list.

Chris the 450 is going well, certainly a lot nicer on road sections, but I dont think I am quite as skilled/quick on the technical stuff. But no regrets.

Mark.

Well mum came over this evening and I took her on a suprise outing to Ermington Woods.

Bluebells were superb - possibly the best she has seen - better than Womwell, but without the coast. Walk through the woods was relly nice.

And if ya want to check out bluebells you only have a week or so left before they wilt away for another year.

Cheers again guyz
