My name is Geoff and I've recently bought a Kwaka KLX 250R with the intention of doing some Green Laning - something which is TOTALLY new to me having only ridden on the road but having looked through the ride-out reports I'm really looking forward to it, if not a tad daunted by some of the challenges!
I had the pleasure of meeting Andy (Fixer) and Neil (Neil450exc) at a recent Plymouth Motorcycle Club meeting where Rob Deacon was doing a presentation. Andy and Neil, great guys, pointed me in the direction of the TVTR and gave me some good tips on buying kit etc... as I'm starting from scratch here.
Well, all that remains for me to do is buy the rest of what I need then meet up with you guys for a ride-out, sooner rather than later all being well.
Welcome to the Forum Geoff. Good to meet you the other night. You can join us for a ride prior to applying to join the TVTR just keep an eye on the rideout section. All TVTR members have to be members of the TRF but all the info is available elsewhere on this forum. There is a meeting of Cornwall TRF tomorrow night (Thur 18th) at the Victoria Inn at Roche just off the A30 west of Bodmin 8pm. Should be a good meeting as we have Chris Mason from the Forestry Commission and WPC Libby of Looe area Police coming to talk to us. Cheers, Neil.
