So who's up for it?

Hi Tim,

I am 99% sure I am going to this one.

Am gutted I missed Whiteway yesterday, unfortunately the good lady wife was ill so no chance!

Anyone else travelling up from Tavistock/Plymouth area to this event. I am quite happy to drag a trailer but only have a single bike trailer myself.

Chris

Hope you get it sorted. I guess locking him in the cupboard under the stairs for the day isnt an option?

Hey there folks

Having met and spoken with Roger Hart at the Megaride on the TRF stand I'm down for this one, paid up in advance - good for a newbie like me he said.

I live in Plymouth and plan to ride there (as I have no other option - no van or trailer!).
In reply to Chris M, if you're riding I'll tag along with you if that's okay? I'm based in Plympton, Tel. No. 07971 051109 if you want to get in touch and arrange a time and place to meet.

See ya'll there.

Hi Wheely,

I think it will be a little bit far for me to ride, so will trailer up. See you up there, should be good, a bit of rain planned to soften it up a bit smile.gif

Hi Roger, Thanks for that and of course its already in the public domain so could I suggest you take the link and post it under your name? I don't have access to the devon site these days. No need for acknoledgement but I am sure others might enjoy it too as our public record of an enjoyable day.
Thanks to the Landowner and all those that set up and took down the course.
Fred

Hi Phil, its a ContourHD, set on SD for the better fluid motion when travelling at speed thru jungle with lots of changing foliage detail! This setting also reduces the field of view down from the normal 135 degrees 0 mins so you can better concentrate on whats ahead and does not reduce your computer to a quivering wreck trying to handle the graphics loading.

As for Timus, I think there was an instant when he was out of his leaning comfort zone and probably clocked 1 35. It would have been a rare but interesting occasion had he looked for that badger.

Rom, I would not like to say, but i caught site of the colour (Orange) a 2009 400 wirth 1780 miles on the speedo, or was that 1760, I can't be precise as I was just trying to stay upright and keep on Timus' pace!

Fred
