Hello Barney, Pleased to hear your good news, how long have you been in plaster? I'm sure there'll be a run out virtually every weekend for the next few months, usually on a Saturday for the 'official' TVTR run, although with all the rugby on the tv I'm going to have to pick and choose for a few more Saturday's. It's England v Australia this Saturday so I'm staying in with beer and peanuts for company biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.

Barney,

Congrats on getting the cast off. I reckon I might be up for a gentle ride next weekend. I'm having the top end renewed on my bike this coming week so I expect I will have to take it easy for a few hours.

Will let you know next week some time if you fancy it.

Bob you may be able to squeeze in a few hours inbetween the Rugby. How are things on the dog front?

Chris

New piston + rings, camchain and valves checked. To be honest the bike starts first kick usually so I'm hoping the valves are pretty good. I have owned the bike for two years and have had to do nothing to it engine wise so count myself pretty lucky.

Just precaution really, I have probably put 100+ hours on it, and five enduros in the two years so that is good going for that type of engine. Hopefully now it will be Ok for another two years. I'm a useless mechanic an don't trust myself to do this kind of work, I lost a machine screw in the garage about two weeks ago and despite constant searches I still can't find it, what hope would I have with all those small circlips pinging off!

Did your youngster manage to finish that whole box of San Miguel?

See you next week hopefully.

Chris
