Have just googled the ADS Pro Spray Grease but the site I found didn't give any pro's or con's of using grease rather than a can of chain lube. You able to give any enlightenment? ta :)

Regina Chains say that you should oil a chain with a gear oil. Most Chain Lubes are a wax based product and not an oil or grease based one. The purpose of the 'O' rings in a chain is to keep the grease inside of the rollers and also to keep the crud out. If the 'O' rings get dry they burn and no longer seal. You need to keep the 'O' rings wet to let them slide and wax doesn't do this. Chain grease also expels water from the surface of the 'O' rings and works it's way into the joint much better than wax. If you look at the flawed Scot Oiler it uses oil not wax - nuff said! If you want a professional chain oiler the get this one as it is nearly perfect and has an extremely good customer after sales service!
